Enjoy an easy walk with Naturalist Susie Bowman on some of the Felix Neck trails while the leaves are down and new vistas are opened up, followed by hot beverages in the recently refurbished Discovery Room.
Join us to participate in the International Earth Hour, organized by the World Wildlife Fund International. In conjunction with other island conservation organizations, we will reduce our energy consumption by turning out the lights for an hour and enjoying the beauty of nature at night.
Nature provides unique materials for creating stunning centerpieces and decorations for your table and your home. Take a walk to collect natural objects such as stones, shells, grasses, and branches. Learn about some of our local plants, what plants are acceptable to collect, which ones are rare, and about the invasive species that are out-competing the natives. Benefit from natures bounty of natural and biodegradable materials to create sustainable centerpieces rather than store bought decorations.

Edgartown was founded in 1671 and is located in Dukes County on Martha's Vineyard. It was the first colonial settlement in Martha's Vineyard.
Those who visit Edgartown and are interested in historical land marks visit the Vincent House which was built in 1672 and is the oldest house on the island. It is now a museum as is the Thomas Cooke House.
Another house of interest is the Dr. Daniel Fisher House which is directly next door to the Old Whaling Church. The church has now been transformed into the Performing Arts Center.
